Whether I agree with her opinions or not, I think asking older women—especially one of Greer’s background— to sit down and let the young’uns take over is a bit much, too.
Let her talk and defend her views, or let her talk and change her views. If we just tell her to sit down and shut up, old lady with outdated views,

It doesn’t hurt that Clinton and Richards are about 19x smarter than anyone else in the room.

I'm no Hillary Clinton supporter but she totally destroyed that. No surprise though.

The use of the ‘gaslighting’ term here is weird to me idk. If they’re both sampling another person’s sound (they’re not the same sample, if this is any indication), and D.R.A.M’s came out much earlier and faded from the charts, and Drake has admitted that he gets inspired for work, and his did better... I don’t know.

That’s... odd.

Any box of Lucky Charms is all mashmallow if you’re willing to do the work.

Doug had a show for a while “Moving Up” which was pretty interesting. Former owners of homes go BACK and see what the new owners did to the place. Some real angry people on that one. A lot of people on it were working with shoe string budgets or spouses who demanded some real hideous shit

I wish I could give you 1000 stars for that last line.

“But last time...”

It IS time for other states to start doing their part. Florida’s carried the nation’s Fucking Unhinged water long enough and Texas and Alabama can’t do everything. So thanks, Missouri, for stepping up.

The first time I had pizza with meatballs as a topping I was confused and thought they forgot to put them on. Then my friend realized that I had imagined whole meatballs (little ones!) instead of slices of meatballs. This bagel crust vs topping story makes me feel better.

That reminds me. Working at the library I had a woman come in to report that she had returned a book and it wasn’t taken off her record. This happens from time to time when you’re checking in and out thousands of books a day, and we have a procedure where we take the book off the person’s record and it gets searched

So if your cell phone bill is too high you can scald a hostess at a restaurant to blow off steam? I’m confused about what your point is in relation to this article and thread.

Who is doing all this ripping off, exactly? What are you even talking about?

Haha I don’t know!there are like pizza bagels you know which is actually a bagel with pizza toppings on it. But I don’t know WHAT this customer was thinking like it was a regular size slice of pizza did you think there were tiny little bagels on it?

I’ve never worked in food service but my best friend has and he was working at a pizza/fried chicken place inside of a party store/24 hour gas station and people ALWAYS thought he was lying about the pizza. Or just make up things that they thought the restaurant SHOULD have.

“Sheesh, just give her a bigger container of soup. It’s not that hard”

I’m wondering that too.

The real question is; are we going to get Pinkham’s Law on this story? “Maybe she was from a culture where throwing soup is a common sign of professional courtesy”? “Maybe the restaurant owner is lying and also tampered with the surveillance camera”? “Who among us can honestly say we have never physically assaulted

Why are customers always convinced people are lying to them? They have only one cup size, they aren’ trying to trick you for the fun of it. I one time had a customer, when I worked at the convenience store, swear up and down they paid for a money order with a credit card there just recently. The damn computers didn’t
