Thats not true at all. They can make a non-Revan based kotor game. They don’t need to retcon anything to make a third kotor game. Bioware is making ME4 without retconning 1-3.

This is pretty standard. It’s to ensure the kid doesn’t just just laze around for the rest of their life. Waiting till 25 makes it more likely they’ll finish college and maybe get a job or find something to do with their life other than live off their father’s money.

Considering the old English Dub VHS specifically calls them lepers (as far as my age-addled brain remembers) I’m not sure it can be called an Urban Legend.
