I loved the accent, but Americans are programmed to enjoy that type. >_>

The Mortal Kombat tv show I remember had all the trappings but little martial arts. Got really frustrated waiting for the Scorpion and Subzero plotlines to go somewhere and quit watching.
Tan seems fine in this episode.
You know, I like Dawson's character, but she's nowhere as interesting as people keep trying to tell me.
I thought Danny left her locked in that room and said "You will have to wait til your men get you"?
Its a good thing Luke Cage was reimagined as being a thinking man because Danny seems to be heading for Dumb Blond territory.
Cyclops is the only character I like in the X-men. So tired of Wolverine and his sidekicks stories.
I do wonder if they could have done the moves slow, then sped up the film later.
Seems like a special attack for Drunken Masters: making you suddenly feel drunk too!
Warrior for the Hand can team up with Bob, Agent of Hydra.
I suspect they are supposed to be acting criminally, bribing the govt to not inspect, possibly using foreigners desperate for work. You wouldn't want to say "and the Chinese were totes ok with the heroin factory!"
Seconding putting K'un Lun in New York to begin with would have been better. There is no reason at all to anchor the place to China. It is not the Chinese mythology but a made up place in an alien dimension, populated by aliens that isn't supposed to use Chinese culture. Using Chinese culture just opens the show up…
The fighting style is meant to look drunk to throw off your opponent. Which worked spectacularly here. However, Zhou may have been actually drunk, as he said he drank to control his 'dragon'. In the books, Zhou is possessed by a demon, Ch'i Lin—alcohol might control it.
Spoiler: He doesn't have a drivers license. Danny just didn't bother to get one before driving a car around.
Hmmm. In World of Warcraft, being drunk used to make you more powerful…but less precise.
I never buy the "but he decided to do something and I had no choice but to go along" argument. You can always do other things. Danny's plans were uniformly terrible. I accepted it only because Danny was the one with special powers, Randco access, and money, Colleen wanted to be with Danny and she's a closet sword…
She could have asked Danny to find her a place to hide until he'd fought the Hand. He had the money to put her up in a hotel under a different name or even Hogarth's company apartment. There were options and Not-personally-fighting-the-Hand was one of them.
It is hardly a giant leap for a lady to tell a white lie to an insecure young man that he was better at sex than he really was.
All superhero relationships are usually bad ideas, though!
Karen/Matt is fine. They just need to quit being dumb about lying. I will allow that Foggy/Matt is better, though.
