It turns out swords and axes are most effective. Possible spoiler.

Pretty sure there's actual Trump metaphors in the show, though. I pegged Harold as Sexy Trump.
That or completely useless for metahumans/ninjas.
That might be from once being married to Hawkeye. His DC comic's counterpart, Green Arrow and Black Canary have similar issues.
..I've been ranting all over here about anti-white American crap and haven't noticed that.
I haven't actually heard any conspiracy theories about Donald murdering people, so that makes Donald more balanced than Harold.
Might as well! They say his real name is Zheng Zhi (Black Dragon) now, I think.
I loved that guy so much. Like what if Gambit was Asian..
Yes. But since Kingpin and Typhoid Mary became Hand, it feels like 'characterization' depends on not having a mask.
It seems pointless to criticize her fighting when Danny's sucks so much.
I default to D&D. Was trying to indicate the cool type of melee, rather than simple whacking a baseball bat around.
People have been making pastiches of Trump for years. Biff in Back to the Future. The Meachums seem to have too many similarities to the Trump family for it to be an accident.
So few mafia guys choose to focus on super melee.
The text says that Danny is better trained and more powerful than Matt. This is more obvious in the big fight scenes in ep.6 and 12. Given some warning that Danny had a superstrength/healing power, Matt might have a chance. He is definitely smarter than Danny.
I agree with everything except your complaint about the Hand. They are completely different here than DD season 2. Became one of the genuinely interesting parts of the show.
Finished the series. Danny's fighting feels very uneven. Occasionally really good but mostly enh. (Probably switching between stunt man and unskilled actor) I'd say that stuntman!Danny seems more skilled than Matt? Which matches their comic book logic, as you say. But I'd say Matt would be a tough opponent if…
…The show version disappoints me. Comic book Lei Kung is sexxy and wears no shirt. This guy looks like a Buddhist monk.
You might be right (I binged all night so I'm not gonna look it up). It would explain why she has a Chinese family name but has always been described as Japanese-American in the stories I've read.
It may have changed over time? Hogarth is Danny's attorney on retainer and sort-of manager of Heroes for Hire when it was just Danny and Luke. Joy is supposed to be a businesswoman running a multinational corporation. Different jobs.
I finished this morning (still haven't slept, had to watch the hearings!) and Ward has an incredible arc. I'd compare it to Mariah's arc in Luke Cage.
