You think AV Club is edgy?

LOL I remember the miniatures and how Hale was like "gamers :P"

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the Season 2 finale shows Ford built a robot copy of himself to live on as part of the "new species".

If God is a comedian playing to an audience afraid to laugh, Ford definitely wanted someone who could actually appreciate the punchline.

I know! You can be "conscious" yet still be controlled. The ability to be controlled is not the yes/no of sentience. But its harder to show stories about conscious people/robots being controlled through lies/manipulation/torture than to just show a robot being reprogrammed.

It was a weak point when you know that people trained to fight gunfighter Wild West style would absolutely get shot down by people trained to fight automatic weapon combat.

Yeah, my read was that he simply cared more about himself and his own ambitions to create robots of his own than about the incidental deaths of his fellow human beings. Also, he had more empathy to machines, so could rationalize his species treason. What's a few ordinary human lives to a new form of consciousness

They didn't develop it enough. Went too fast. We needed to be hit over the head with William's going through Dolores' loop over and over again, not just a quickie flashback, for it to get across William's frustration with trying to awaken Dolores. Great idea, bad execution.

Yeah, my main issue with Dolores' "what I need to become" resembled 'Dolores as tool of creator' too much. There wasn't enough of her own reasoning to sell the final slaughter.

Well…Felix didn't show much empathy for other humans..

Dolores' story end was kinda shit.

Counter: I loved the Dolores character but was bored by her final twist, to return to being Crazy Wyatt.

I, too, marvel at my dishwasher until the inevitable day it turns on me.

Enh. Opinions are subjective.

Some people are very lonely and need validation however they can get it.

This reminds me of this one comic book where EVERYONE becomes magically corrupt. Except they have to rely on this one minion who screws up royally. Reliably so. So they have to leave everything in his hands, and the minion accidentally changes everyone back to their normal selves. Felix is like that.

"FIDDLE ABOUT! FIDDLE ABOUT!"

Grammar nazis are annoying, yo.

Yes, there are 'family zones', remember? They even ended a fight early just to make sure all the bodies were cleaned up before some families returned to the start town.

I know! What about all the ninja wannabes?
