This was basically a re-make. An interminable way to provide every Star Wars cliche all over again. I give it a C or C-. Even with my low expectations I was disappointed.

I want to like this, but I'm going to call this a fail. It needs editing, and it needs some cohesion. If you were really sharing someone's life, like movies do as they follow their characters, you'd have a lot more to go on; this film chooses to provide semi-random snippets and glimpses. Clearly Carruth has talent.
