Oh, Hell no!

That would explain why none of us Black or Brown people were there.

I'm not a huge Who fan but I've seen this episode about twice. The second time, my niece wandered in, plopped herself down to watch it and proceeded to be totally creeped out for several hours afterwards.

AAAHHHH!

Exactly! The time wasted arguing about it would have been better spent writing it!

Bad Keyboard!

they were fighting Carey Hiroyuki Togawa. I remember this because of was a fan of Space Tripuckers and Carey had starred in that. It was also the first time I ever saw Brandon Lee. Had no idea who he was at the time. But this looks like every 80's action movie I ever saw.

And how they shot Quinto's scenes, in and around the car, as if they were shooting The Enterprise in Spacedock.

Definitely the nerve pinch. Since I was twelve, there are any number of people, over the years, that I've wanted to give that pinch.

What about the foundational ingredients needed to make stuff in the machines. Would that be an industry?

Wholeheartedly agree. I regularly meet people who can't drive on a flat surface. I'd be terrified to have such individuals in the air.

I love deeply tragic humor too and I'm about as far as you can get from being Swedish, unless there's something my Mum's not telling me.

Exactly! I've always been pissed about this trope. (Especially in Wanted.) When I was watching that movie my first question was, Why the Hell are we watching this guy? Why not just make the entire movie about Jolie's character? It's probably the reason why Edge of Tomorrow and Wanted are never going to be my favorite

I wonder if she pronounced it Pee-Not Giorgio?

It is hilarious to me that every single person who has Hate-Read these books is planning to go see the movie and Hate-Watch that, too. It's like Invasion of the Bodysnatchers or some kind of cult. Once you pick up the book, you become, "One of us!"

I kind of have to agree with you on this one because it reminds me of when Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was released. One of my co-workers came in, raving about how great the movie was and that it was one of the most wonderful, most beautiful, action movies....blah, blah, blah. I conceded that the trailer made it

There's not a single part of my body that ever had the intention of reading these books (and I feel absolutely no guilt about that) and I feel the same way you do.

I thought it was called Queer As Folk?

I was just learning this weekend about the various black townships that, when they became successful, would frighten the surrounding White communities into rioting and destroying them, often killing the people in them. Tulsa,OK and Rosewood are just two examples. In other places, the Black community was kept in such a
