Such is the limitation of language. At a certain point we just don't have the vocabulary necessary to express the level of detail a topic like this really deserves.

That's a good point. The words we use carry connotations, whether we intend them to or not. Like the little boy saying "funny eyes" about the Asian girl. I'm guessing from the context he meant they were different from his eyes or the eyes he's used to seeing, not that they were something to be laughed at or about. But…

That's a really difficult thing to tackle - and without dedicating room to it, it could easily go off the rails.

If it's for personal use, take a look at NAS4free instead. I'm currently running a FreeNAS box and am regretting it. The latest version will not work with my old hardware, the enterprise-level security is annoying and the feature set is really not tailored to home use.

As a Mac user, I originally used 1Password for years. However, I work in a Windows environment so I switched to LastPass about 5 years ago. Although it costs to get full use, it still comes out cheaper than other options.
