There is a general problem with these concerning clicks that stop working properly. Fortunately their return policy and warranty worked well enough. Incidentally the new version shortened the life of the warranty... hmm.

I find the scrolling happens too easily (and is too fast), and the fact that it as a single switch but two spots for left and right click makes for a lot of fun if you use both and either... for instance if you hold in the left click, and “accidentally” just lightly brush the right side of the control, that will come

Currently I use and prefer “Display Menu”: (App Store)

I’ve tried (and bought a few) dual pane file managers for OS X, and although none of them comes close to TotalCommander on Windows, FastCommander is my current favorite:

I’ve upgraded to Windows 10 on bootcamp on my old Retina Macbook Pro, and had some issues getting bluetooth to work.

Like with printers, the ink is where you pay through your nose.

Exactly this, when I buy brown sugar I tend to go for the ones that did not go through this process. Separation and re-combination. Kinda interesting how this is actually cheaper... economics of scale.

Most “brown” sugar is refined white sugar with molasses re-added. Since it is cheaper to do it this way it makes sense. Organic or raw brown sugar is more expensive since it is a smaller and less mass-produced process. I guess...

Hangouts in the browser, and especially on the Mac, has really deteriorated. I can’t believe that I actually prefer Skype nowadays. The bugs, the bugs...

What I love of each (currently I’m using Android)

We just bought our second Roomba... our other one is now about 2 years old (they grow up so fast), and both are real troopers. We have 2 cats (long hair) but no carpets (all wooden floors), and for us they are perfect. Since Roombas don’t always clean thoroughly, you just need to let them clean often... so the ones

That would be the case if you wanted that (a plain thermostat), but unfortunately this was a question about smart thermostats for people that understand the topic and needed one.

Eric, I agree with you, but although you might not have a choice of internet provider, I guess you at least still have a choice to change TV service while keeping your internet only. For the most part, you can get most of these shows elsewhere. Personally I only really want Game of Thrones. I do not want any live TV

For me it is any Z-Wave/Zigbee compatible thermostat. (Around $90) which I can then connect to a home automation system like SmartThings and control with all kinds of scripts.

I have a friend who bought one as well and is quite happy with too. My problem was small beeping noises that did not sound right and they happily exchanged it. But otherwise the features are cool, and the USB connectivity to my NAS works well. Have had the new one for more than a year, and the old one for about the

I have a very old Mac Mini I’m using with a *very* clean and minimal installation of Snow Leopard. Most of my video runs max 720p, and even that strains it when it decodes via a web-based player. (VLC runs fine and does not come close to max CPU). The problem is that while watching video the app still seems to be

I did this during one summer holiday at the seaside... wonderful.

THIS is an awesome UPS. And I love their support. Quite happy with mine still after a few years. I have this exact model.

I removed it again because it was causing performance issues... But I really would love to use it again someday...
