DaisyDisk is pretty and costs.

1. Time travel is possible, in fact we are all travelling through time... forward.

One thing I noticed on their list of "absolutely should be switched off totally" are GPSes.

Ok, so I downloaded GNUCash and ran it, and it immediately crashed. This is why I would not use it.

Just downloaded YNAB to try and see how well it "can connect to your bank" and it seems it can only import downloaded files. Blegh! I have a 401K account, Medical Savings Account, various (6) checking accounts and come credit card accounts... all at different banks. There is no way I am going to go to each to download

And remember to speak "American"...

Total Commander will change this when it goes official, I'm sure.

It's just sad how many people can't distinguish between readers and bookstores. This is not a contest between a Nook, Kindle, iPad, Android or e-ink vs LCD. This is about which store environment you want to be locked in with.

Yet the truth is that B&N has the largest selection and as far as I can tell they all have equal accessability[sic].

I've had GV now and the forwarding to Verizon lines are terrible. There is this huge lag, my phone always only seems to ring once or twice before it goes to voicemail when the caller hears it ringing a long time. I never had this problem on my AT&T. But I'm going to use this now to jump to Sprint. I wants pure google

Indeed it does not... :P I've been trying it out as my ringtone this past 2 weeks and my cellphone def. is better at higher pitched noise.

We've been using iPhoto for all our photos for the past few years, and it was becoming very slow of late to use. We have also bought Lightroom and tried to use it, but it was not a fit either.

They are almost as bad as they companies they leaked our information from. (Some of those same companies that assured us they only had access to encrypted information, but then admitted they lied.) I have no love lost for these LulzSec guys and agree with you fully, but I also hold these large companies liable who

Why re-invent the wheel? It sounds like you are rudimentary emulating Subsonic which is totally free and open source with many more features. It has a native Android app that worked very well for me and I liked it so much that I even donated (totally optional). It does indeed also handle quite a slew of formats and

The $20 for Subsonic is only needed for the DynDNS type address functionality they give. It is justa bonus if you donate... you don't need to and can just use your own DynDNS address.

What about pink noise? It is stronger in the domain of human hearing... and not as annoying.

I don't think it's you. I too cannot use modern console controller without feeling claustrophobic and clumsy. If it was not for aim-assist most people would not even be able to play at all using controllers. They work really well for campers and snipers, and make these games almost impossible and non-fun to play in
