I will check it out. I’m just so glad that her life hasn’t come to a screeching halt. That she still works. That she still writes. That she spoke out. This could easily not be the case.

Because consensual BDSM play has nothing to do with actual rape. Many sex-positive feminists engage in BDSM without it conflicting or cancelling out their feminist politics.

I never understood the Deen love. Boyish smile or no, I’ve seen him in way too many videos that simulate rape, and I could never understand how someone who purports, even mildly, toward feminist self-identification could justify that.
