Former Impreza owner here: Yes. Ditched mine in the car’s 6th year for burning oil. Subaru also rejected my claim under that class action lawsuit that would’ve replaced the short block. Got decent money for the trade in, have been happy with my little Lexus hybrid ever since (especially lately.)
