Could be. I’ve had Mexican beers in Mexico (notably, Tecate and Dos Equis) that taste different than here. We always jokingly chalk it up to the water. Both of the aforementioned taste better just across the border.

OK but Shake Shack is a new thing over here deep in Southern California, and the restaurant we frequent is actually never busy and SO MUCH BETTER than the always-packed In-N-Out not too far away from it.
