the phone didnt do any erasing... i dont have an iCloud back up and after i upgraded it itunes wasnt the correct version so it couldnt have done a restore.. all settings apps and music is kept on the phone.. much faster than previous versions.. you are incorrect Giggity

It didn't erase anything. This I know. You don't need the iTunes 11.1 beta. I used 11.05 and option clicked on "Check for Update" and selected the .ipsw file. It installed onto the device without the need for restoring.

I upgraded to the leaked GM a week ago and all my apps have been working perfectly. Have not encountered any compatibility issues or crashing. Solid upgrade.
