I’m guessing cell phone use was a significant, contributing factor.

I address the source material, which I have read, in the review. I also acknowledge the ways in which Kaufman radically transforms and expands upon it. Having seen the movie (twice!), I can assure you that he brings a strangeness to the material that is in not in the (also strange) novel.
So much hate in you. I can’t begin to imagine how sad and lonely your days must be for you to wait for nights to watch shows you disdain.
Yeah, there were WAY too many Unsullied—and Dothraki—still alive at the end. It’s OK, though, since their numbers/force don’t really matter now. BTW, are we to assume ALL the Unsullied sailed to Naath with Grey Worm at the end? It was proposed that they take up some of the lands now available, so maybe some stayed in…
Davos lived! Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
What a great post!
Can I say something being the second oldest dude here? Game of Thrones premiered April 17, 2011. A sane man occupied the White House, the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell signed, Saddam Hussein dead, Occupy Wall Street, The HARRY POTTER movies ended, and Gabriel Giffords survived a senseless attack. The excitement…
Yes! I was enthralled by the episode last night and was shocked to find so many people unsatisfied with it. I’m glad I’m not the only one who really enjoyed all the pieces.
Poison was the worst to me but Motley Crue was a close second. Def Leppard wasn’t even in the same stratosphere of terribleness, although they were terrible.
Of the collective musical trends that played out through my adolescent years, pop hair metal was the bane of them all, and Motley Crue represented its nadir to me at the time. (Def Leppard came in a close second, but ultimately I decided their annoying ubiquity didn’t trump Motley Crue’s skeevy loathsomeness.) I had…
I was secretly hoping Idris Elba for either Duncan or Gurney.
Keep reading. Those are big spoilers, but it’s a hell of a ride. (Stop reading after Frank Herbert dies - there are only 6 real Dune books.)
First of all it’s refreshing to see some one making accurate descriptions of the dune series. God Emperor is also my favorite, followed by chapterhouse. The tragic comedy between Moneo and Leto, Duncan’s fish out of water experience, and Letos wormmance with Hwi Noree all led me to read and reread GE over and over.…
Adam Gase Is Building A Locker Room Powder Keg With His New Coaching Hires
Of course this is back when 10 years would bring drastic changes in culture and style. Not that we haven’t had some big cultural shifts especially in politics and technology but changes in pop music and fashion seem much more gradual and slight since the the late 90s.
Dad?
Because, like the rest of America, he hates Tom Brady.
The Unabomber was captured in 1996.
So it’s like a whole novel of member berries?
