Vulture: One of the criticisms of Breaking Bad that keeps coming up is over the female characters. Skyler White is seen by some as this henpecking woman who stands in the way of all of Walt’s fun.

But... that’s the whole point of the show. He finally even admits “I did it for me.”

Watching Breaking Bad I thought it was clear that Walt was not a “Hero” but a fucking asshole that let his ego and pride to take over everything that was good on his life, excusing himself with his cancer.

after season 1, that kind of becomes the overarching theme- that walt is actually a sociopath.

Yeah, I think you misunderstood “Breaking Bad”. Maybe look up the definition ‘anti-hero’.
