As someone who is almost as obsessed with stand-up comedy as music, I always thought this was weird too. Also, am I the only one who enjoys hearing jokes more than once? I’ve watched certain comedy specials and listened to m favorite comedy albums like a million times.

Are Republicans just that desperate to have a celebrity on their side that that is the reason they’re backing him? The whole thing is wild confusing for me. Like, if you’re a 60 year old Republican voter, why would you stan for Kid Rock of all people?

Certainly, it’s not ideal that our country may begin to just straight-up start electing unqualified (and in this case abhorrent) entertainers to high office.

He’s not failing at starting a Senate bit, he’s succeeding at a publicity stunt to give him press his music hasn’t gotten in years and hasn’t deserved in ever. It only worked because the media and politics both appear to have a serious, possibly fatal, case of the stupids.
