As horrible and tasteless as this is, I don’t think they were saying the people deserved to die (although I don’t know what their point is). The organizer is Black, so I’m assuming it’s less racism and more “you can die at any time, repent now.”

I’m pretty sure they were trying to show the murderers as the bad guys here. Not out of any genuine sympathy, but out of a “look *Christians* (ignoring the huge racial element) are attacked!” And even maybe a bit of “look Muslims are bad” for the Pulse shootings.

Yeah they do exist here in Chicago too—that being said, a lot of them are leftover from a time they did work and now no longer do anything. And good luck figuring out which are which.
