She did hire multiple people. Now I know why she specified that she wants someone who can read and understand information as the skill seems sadly lacking these days. 

Someone who is sufficiently organized would be able to keep this from happening to them. 

The position is not “caregiver.” The household has an au pair already. Socking away $50K a year and taking a bunch of international vacations sounds fucking great to me. 

The fact that so many people can’t actually read and understand this job description makes me really understand why the CEO wrote it that way and why it’s been so hard for her to find help. 

It’s fucking gross that the commentariat is bagging on a successful woman who took the time to parse out a detailed and specific job description, compensate the position well, and make her needs and preferences known ahead of time.

Did you actually read? No, you didn’t. She HAS a staff. She has an au pair, a gardener, and a housekeeper. She is hiring for a MANAGER OF THE STAFF.

It’s not at all the work of four people. I guess in today’s “don’t wanna come to work before 10 and must leave by 3" world this looks like a lot, but this is a great position with good compensation and perks and for a well organized and skillful person this would be a lot of fun. 

Imagine the references this woman would give to someone who did a good job.
