But this article shows that’s not true. Roger Taney’s statue was removed and he was not a Confederate. Dred Scott was a terrible decision, but Taney was no traitor.
Well the Constitution doesn’t actually say anything about secession, so it’s really only “illegal” because Lincoln decided it was and, more importantly, won the war.

I’m not sure at what point protesters started whining about being arrested, but it’s really ruined civil disobedience in this country. Getting arrested used to be the point of protesting and a badge of honor.

I guess you missed the NY Times’s update to their story. It turns out the DOJ is not investigating discrimination against white applicants at all, but is responding to a complaint by Asian-Americans against Harvard. I’m sure you’ll update your story to reflect this.
