@maylane39: Hmmm, I need to check some of these out. Anyone who loves both Cranford and Wives and Daughters must have excellent taste. : )

@bexb1103: AMEN. AY-FUCKING-MEN. He is absolutely gorgeous and awesome in that, and the end always makes me go back to watch a second...even third...time. They are so freakin' sexy together at the end!
@audreyapple: YES. The book is, of course, better, but the film is lovely in its way.
The fact that both children expressed a desire to be absent from the birth and were ignored is problematic for me. It's one thing to ignore a child's, "NO!" when it comes to eating their vegetables, and quite another to ignore their "NO!" when it comes to watching their mother deliver a baby.
How refreshing that his fellow students are standing up for him, unlike the case with Constance in Mississippi.
@littleliongirl: I'm currently re-reading that very HP book. : )
Am I the only one who glanced at this headline, thought it said "Style Your Tool" and immediately wondered if it was about the guys of Jersey Shore?
@harperleebowitz: I agree! I love seeing a lady of advanced yeard being recognized for her awesomeness, instead of swept into her rocking chair in the corner.
@whereismyrobot: AWESOME.
You go, Betty!!
@uwishunu: Absolutely—Three Cups of Tea, and both of Husseini's books (as mentioned above). They are The Kite Runner (the movie was also incredible) and A Thousand Splendid Suns.
@KiddyKat: Have you read "Under The Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakauer? Smith was full of all kinds of self-serving delusions.
Yeah, Mel, 'cause menopausal women all go on misogynistic, hate-fueled rampages littered with racist remarks and craziness.
@no clever name: Especially as the soldiers who are forced to be dishonest show so much Personal Courage in carrying out their duties while being constantly terrified that their secret will be outed and they discharged.
@That-Dude: I'm sure all you really wanted to know about the guy next to you was if he could do his job well, and could watch your back while you watched his.
But won't it take more than legislation to correct how we currently look at women's bodies?
@melchior_gabor: Hell, I'm a white girl, and my parents said a bit "hell no" to baton-twirling (my best friends were doing it) and dragged me kicking and screaming to piano lessons. I never thought I'd thank them for it when I was seven...but then I grew up to be a music teacher.
@BuffySummers: Also, the police need to charge ANYONE who posted this shit with possession of child porn. Let people chew on that.
@brightpeonies: He's amazing. I've been lucky enough to see them twice in concert (and even met Tim and Richard after the show this summer!!) and he has PIPES. He's a true singer.
@netfe: I don't know...but I'm sure they could do some nifty stuff with camera angles to make him appear shorter if they wanted.
