@morninggloria: This is a wonderful idea and should be promoted. Besides, those old guys are often war vets—WWII, Korea or Vietnam (they're getting older now, too) and they have some incredible stories. Some are reluctant to talk, but others aren't.

My parents moved into one of those Dell Webb 55-and-older communities in 2006. At the time I just sort of laughed and shook my head but they've had the last laugh.

Oh, good grief. I was fine until their little boys showed up.
