@lady.and.lord: The orange one is Harley, the torbie is Millie.

@Dorisaurus: Same! Millie has a deeper, throatier meow, and Harley sounds like a wee kitten. Cracks me up.

@Dorisaurus: My 8-pound cat got sick a year or so ago and lost so much weight, her spine stuck out. Now she's back to full health and has that nice layer of flesh—you can feel her spine and ribs, but they're not so pronounced.

@emfish55: I recently lost my job because of the first bad evaluation I've ever had in eight years in my career. It was by a woman. I took a long list of my grievances about her to the union attorney. He agreed that I had a valid claim of harassment. Unfortunately, he said, no judge will take the case because the boss

@Raised-byHeathens: No, then they'll whine that it's pornography and inappropriate and WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN!?!

All of it is bad. Good grief, buy them some Grranimals and let them make mud pies! Let them be children! GAH!

I have a 13-pound cat. He's just a Big Boy. Big feet, lots of muscle, and quite an impressive tummy. The vet said he's in great health.

@curlysarah29: I've seen in the past articles about birds affected by oil spills. People make little sweaters for them to help keep them warm enough. I don't know if they need them forever, or just for a recovery period.

$10,000 dollars worth of damage to Jack's car? My car got vandalized a couple of years ago—a dent kicked in the door, scratched to hell, and it only came to $3,500 (thank goodness for insurance!).

They could just stand there and I'd be squeeing all over the place. Penguins are ADORABLE.

@Gretchen: Amen. I am so there, too. We finished last week, so to me, there is nothing adorable or cool about this child, only bratty and horrid. No ammount of spinning in circles and having a "ni ni" is going to make me feel differently.

@LiviNikki: That would have been all kinds of magic, because those ladies were/are awesome.

What a lovely post, Tracie. Rue was hell of a Jez, and won't be forgotten. P.S. That photo of her—what a hottie!

@rhubarbarin: You are so right. I talk to my parents every day—they're honestly my best friends. But I am also a healthy, self-sufficient adult. I live on my own, pay my bills and take good care of myself. I just happen to enjoy chatting with my parents about my day and having that contact with them. They're in their

@PurplePopple: OMG. I'm a teacher, and even I haven't encountered that kind of concern before!

@watercolors: Baby steps. Maybe a situation will come along where you can live with roommates. At least you know that you are struggling with this and know that it needs to be overcome. I wish you well!

@StoppedWorrying.HateBombStill: Okay, the whole webcam thing just seems a little strange and freaky. Of course, all the stuff you mentioned before that is, too. Obviously, the mother had some issues of her own to be that paranoid and clingy.

No, no, no, no, no.

I've never heard a cat fart, but both of mine would get terrible gas when they were kittens. Thankfully, they outgrew it.
