That glove snapping. Do it enough and the pavlovian response you get from just the snapping is soooo worth it.

Haha $20 is kind of nuts, (not to mention $600) but I think that the giving of money [can] serve a certain function, and it’s not as though the teeth have some sort of market value—I don’t know what the going rate for my classmate’s teeth was, but I know that for my parents, the money-for-teeth thing was a way for

g2g leaving this planet. how do patronizing pieces of shit like this get to hold a job where they make such crucial decisions in people’s lives?

Okay, I’m aware that Planned Parenthood, NOW, etc are big deals, especially to Jezebel readers. I get that the sentence that mentions them as “heavy hitters” isn’t trying to be comprehensive, but rather give you a little teaser of who is involved. I do wish that we could give props to the MANY organizations that specif

I AM DEAD.

wtf that’s not how it works :( it is accepted that you don’t have to have cysts to have PCOS, as it is a suite of symptoms due to a fucked-up endocrine system. I don’t have cysts on my ovaries and am not an “apple shape” buuuuut 1) hairy 2) insulin resistance 3) stupid periods when not on mirena

I was just about to comment this same thing! Good to know I’m not crazy.

too soon ;_;

I CACKLED out loud

I just have 100% empathy for this person with the wedding. Like, if you trust someone and have been dating them for a year and a half, it is WAY easier to believe that dude is doing some weird promotional thing for his school than to believe that someone lied to you to your face every day for months, got married

This happened to a friend of mine! There was no wedding, so it was smaller scale, but she dated a dude for MONTHS, they talked all the time, they’d go on road trips together, etc. Like I was there, I met him! There was always the specter of this ex-girlfriend/roommate that he had but there was definitely “NOTHING”

and other people’s band-aids >_>

I’m crying. I basically grew up at the city pool and this describes it perfectly down to “the green stuff”

Right?! I don’t do that but I’m thinking about going again.

Well, so, does she dislike crying at movies/do you dislike hearing other people cry at movies? I went with my partner and cried along with like, the whole theater, but I really enjoyed it! I thought it was a great little movie.

I went to a movie theater for the 10:40pm showing, so no kids were around. By the end, you could hear sniffling from all parts of the theater (myself included)

putting aside the fact that you’re being an insufferable pedant: your whole comment was about how rejection “isn’t a thing”

yeah but your body is not everyone else’s body. I had a perfectly painless IUD insertion and didn’t even bother to take ibuprofen or whatever beforehand. I also have a friend who fainted from the pain, and she’s no weakling—-in fact, when they couldn’t get it in that first time she went in for another appointment to
