I need help finding a t-shirt! Many many years ago, I got a nice long-sleeve t shirt from j. crew. It had a kind of tuxedo front and a mandarin collar. I LOVE this t-shirt and I wear it constantly. But, it has sadly reached the end of its life. Does anyone know where I can find a nice t-shirt with a mandarin collar

LOVE that the judge put in the opinion that the state’s concern trolling about women’s health was “pure gaslighting.” How wonderful. Thank you Judge Reeves for calling a spade a spade.

I’ve tried Mad Hippie and it was ok. My skin def looked brighter, but not dramatically so.

Aww, Ina’s roast chicken is always a good idea :) I’m totally jealous you get to see her in person. She seems like she must be genuinely delightful in-person.

Good for you! I especially like your idea to eat the “undesirable cuts.

Welp ladies, I’m here to vent again. My co-worker is driving me nuts. Today she texted me to ask me a question about work (i.e. do her job for her). It’s SATURDAY! Leave me alone! She has made a bunch of nasty comments at me, including that I am a bad dog-mom because I work full time. I told her that was hurtful, but

Good for you! Every move in the history of the world has been a total racket. Congrats on kicking this racket in the butt and making positive changes for yourself. Good luck!

“people sort themselves where they need to be.”

I am training my replacement at work. I was not involved in hiring him and—holy shit— this kid is just profoundly unlikable. He has made a series of obnoxious comments to me and has thrown shade at my intelligence. He asked a bunch of very niche hypothetical questions that he could find the answer to if he looked them

It is not a “secretary gift”—I said I would get her and her secretary a gift. it is generally expected in this particular job we will exchange gifts. I understand this is not something that happens in every field or job. In this particular job, the parting gift is a sort of “thank you for the opportunity and for the

It’s kind of a quirk of my particular job. It’s a one-year job and my boss offered me the job with the understanding that she would also be my mentor. She is also well-regarded within my field, so I want to maintain a good relationship/make sure I get a decent recommendation. It is conventionally understood that in

My boss told a dirty joke in the office the other day. I am a woman, she is a (straight, married) woman, so I don’t think she was trying to sexually harass me. But god in heaven. It was the most uncomfortable thing. She told it in front of me and my intern twice. She called in her secretary to tell it once again. I

As much as I would love to hate on Tiffany, tons of law students work as RAs during their 1L summer. It’s a totally legit and respected thing to do (depending on the prof, it could be a pretty well regarded gig).

Get it, Mink! She was polite, classy, and far more articulate than I could have been in that situation. That is how you engage with a civil servant.

We can disagree on these points, but it appears to me those arguments are already happening. Perhaps you are right that approach would increase those arguments, but I’m not sure it matters much. Roe gets overturned, states fight about it. At that point we will need as many people as possible to vote for keeping it

I promised I wouldn’t read the news this weekend, yet here I am. I was so upset when I heard the news about Kennedy.

My coworker didn’t think the Republicans would actually go *that* far and try to strike down Roe.

I travel by myself all the time! I love outdoors-y stuff, so I go to at least one national park every year. I’ve been to Zion, Grand Canyon, Banff, and Yosemite. I would absolutely recommend any of those to a single traveller, but especially Banff and Yosemite. Zion is stunning and you should totally go, there just

My thoughts exactly. Repubs are all about free choice of businesses when it comes to birth control and wedding cakes, but not political viewpoints? Just lol.

As far as reading material, The Other End of the Leash is fabulous and really eye opening. As much as I dislike reddit as a whole, the subreddit on puppies has excellent advice that is useful for puppies and adult dogs transitioning to a new home.
