Haha, I can’t get over the 3 hours thing either! My office is not even her first stop. She does the same with her secretary and a handful of others before coming to me (she doesn’t talk at them for 3 hours. More like half an hour or so). It’s totally baffling.

Happy SNS!

They are beautiful. Quick—someone come help me find my own Neville Longbottom, whom I can marry in a garden. He can probs identify all the plants!

God damn loch ness monster.

I went back to try to find it and ended up accidentally doing a review of all my comments and Jezebel’s political posts of the last few years. Whew! It’s been, uh . . . quite a ride. I used to post about my dating life *a lot*.

I second what others have said: the quality of content is not great. There are only so many articles I can tolerate about how awful Trump et al are.

I just need to vent. I recently adopted a puppy who is such a sweetheart, but she is very timid and shy. I live in a city and immediately next to the fire department, so being shy and afraid of loud noises is not an option. We have made a lot of progress in the last month, but she still runs away from strangers.

Oh god love you. I can’t imagine having two pups pooping and peeing and crying and chewing! Hopefully they aren’t littermates on top of that? I hope everything is going well with your little ones!

She is a small breed— a collapsing trachea is exactly what I have been panicking over. I have called the vet countless times and they seem confident it is kennel cough. I have spent hours researching and have watched videos of dogs with collapsing tracheas. She sounds exactly like them. At this point the cough is

Thank you for your measured and helpful response. We immediately went to the vet when I noticed the cough, at which point the vet recommended waiting it out without medication. Two weeks after that, we started the medicine, and today is her last day on the antibiotics. So it’s 4 weeks now with a cough, but no other

I’m sure you’re right and it really is a shame.

Yes, that is why she is on medicine for kennel cough.

Haha, I didn’t know about it! My fam has raised tons of puppies over the years (we are dog people). I remember my mom going totally nuts when we would first get a new pup and I thought she was being overly dramatic. I was dead wrong. My poor mother!

Yes, I took her to the vet immediately when I noticed the cough. She has been on medicine for kennel cough for 2 weeks now. She is still coughing, which makes me think it is not kennel cough. We have another vet appointment next week and I am going to bring it up again. I think the next step is to take x-rays :/

I got kicked out of a farmer’s market today. I got a puppy a few weeks ago and she has been sick, so I have been keeping her inside. But this is a crucial time for socialization. So I decided to take her out this morning to the local farmer’s market to see people and get some socialization in. She is a 6-pound pup and

“If you think this little dog is capable of producing that you need to get your vision checked. Now think back. It’s yours, isn’t it?”

I am officially a dog mom! I am really happy. But man— this week has been a challenge! She is now 10 weeks old. I got her last Friday, I noticed something seemed wrong, and I took her to the vet on Wednesday. She has a mild case of kennel cough, an ear infection, and a tummy parasite :( She acts normal, is eating and

YES, thank you. I came here to write this. I don’t have many dealbreakers when swiping, but pictures with guns was an immediate swipe left. I don’t want to get shot by some angry dude. I also don’t see how banning pictures of people will guns will result in more responsible gun ownership? Seems kind of stupid in the

Single lady here adopting a dog later this month! I just wanted a sidekick/companion to nurture, give love to, and take with me on adventures. The fact that I am getting a de-fact wing-man is def a bonus, tho.

The concept for the show sounds really interesting. In the last week alone, I’ve read a handful of op-eds about how to re-define masculinity so men feel like they can been vulnerable and express emotions without being emasculated. I think it’s an important topic. It sounds like this show might be the network
