Unfortunately this was suicide by cops where someone who wants to die created a situation where they actually want the cops to shoot them dead . How about you go into a situation where you fear your life ?

Well, he not only came at the cops with a knife apparantly to attack them (allegedly), but has admitted (I just read in a different report) that he has attempted suicide by cop before.
