That's what I thought too! And that it's that special kind of abject that no one really needs in their life.

I drink coconut oil in my earl grey! Coffee, which I love, was screwing up my sleep so I switched to tea. Adding the coconut oil has made the transition smoother. Beet greens ARE amazing, and high in iron, so, you know a beauty food for the rosy cheeks, just like raisins! ;)

She looks like she's checking for ticks.

I actually heard a woman at the studio I work at recently talking about the benefits of distilled water and how it pulls the gunk out of your body. It's amazing what people will believe. I readily drink unfiltered tap water because you know what? It's clean! And that's really the thing that matters! And people look at

Perfect, accurate deployment of dill spill.

What do you mean? It makes your body less acidic and so you will, once again, live forever! Just ask my yoga teacher! Science!

Fried in garlic and sesame oil it's pretty amazing. Easier to digest than spinach, which I don't particularly like. Also better in smoothies or juicing (better flavour than spinach and again, for lots of people, probably not everyone, it's easier to digest).

It's a bit odd. I guess she's wearing TV makeup but she looks like she's made of wax. Maybe it's the mannequin hands.

Makes you wonder what they'll say about our trendy foods sixty years from now. I'm thinking stuff like acai, goji, bullet proof coffee, alkaline water, kale… I mean, they're all nutritious (as are raisins), and I love kale, but it's probably not going to make me look young forever.

My good friend wore short hair for her wedding and she looked astonshingly beautiful. There's something so sophisticated about a short cut in a gown. My hair was super long when I got married and honestly? Totally overrated. One might say cliche in fact.

That last paragraph really loses sight of what the stakes are.

James Franco, to my mind, can stay around ONLY because of Freaks & Geeks. Which to this day is his best role.

Nerdgush: I had no idea about Danny Strong being the success he is! This makes me wildly and unaccountably happy. Jonathan was such a great character and in large part that was because of the humility and innocence (even in evil!) that Strong brought to the character.

There's so many. I'm not sure if this is THE best, but it's in my top 3 for sure.

It's a start. Frivolous instrumentalization of nonhumans has to go, whether it's entertainment like circuses or aquariums like Seaworld.

And she was on Veronica Mars. So there's that too!

Love that!

I'm glad you added this part. I too am a survivor of lululemon and I basically have nothing nice to say about it at all. To this day I hate going in those stores; they actually make me anxious. From the greeter to the inevitable "education". Yes I know what luon is, that it has four-way stretch, and wicks sweat, and

Some times a lady just needs a good shovelin'.
