Oh man that is rough. :( Your vet is right. These things happen. You did your best and went above and beyond more than most people would. Feel sad, sure, but PLEASE do not feel guilty. This is not your fault. The little tyke probably didn’t have a chance but at least she felt love from you in her short life.

I would have been laughing my ASS off at that point.

Just...who DOES that? Interrupt a STNG panel to propose to someone who doesn’t want to marry him, thereby ruining her day and interrupting the event? Christ, there needs to be some sort of Avoiding Entitlement: A Primer class for men in junior high to disabuse them of the notion that the world revolves around them.

You’re assuming that family gives unconditional love always. Some people have shitty families and couldn’t give a toss.

Uh, yeah really. In response to the online harassment, his ex gf has spoken at length about their relationship and his violent outbursts, laziness, and total lack of motivation.

No, because this isn’t about politics, it’s about celebrity. Nixon is a celebrity so Jez covers her. If not for her they wouldn’t cover this primary at all.

Yes, but don’t you know that the millennial approach to politics is throwing everyone with experience out the window and replacing them with people who have never held a job before.

Probably because men do it, as we probably don’t need to be reminded.

This was a really leading interview and, sorry to say, poorly done. Either you are going to be “bloggers” as is the typical excuse for a shoddy story, or journalists, which I’m sure was the intention of this piece. If the latter, some training is needed.

Look carefully at this incident. In it, you are the dumpee.

Great idea! Now THAT would be epic - I vote for the part about violent outbursts and the part about him needing a mommy to even get out of bed in the morning. In all seriousness I would love to see the game makers do this.

Maybe he’s that lame of a dude that nobody wants to be around him. All the signs here point to it.

He could be making up that part of the story just like he made up other parts of the story.

Oh believe me, PLENTY of men act like this. This is pretty damn normal to be honest. Every woman has dumped many men for basically being grown children needing a mommy.

Shitty women like shitty men. QED.

“tearing that family apart”

These are grown men. They don’t live in the same home (which is immaterial IMO). And I assume their families are also grown adults and don’t have to act like who their sons date dictates family happiness. They could just say to the schlub, “well I hope you learned a lesson about being a good romantic partner” and be

Sigh.

I mean, think about it: you are saying it’s “skeevy” or whatever to date an ex’s sibling. Why, exactly? Why on earth should it matter unless the person who was broken up with feels entitled to tell her what to do/not have to see her/not have to share her/insist she be alone rather than date anyone in his circle/etc.

I didn’t assume anything at all about you. I refute your assumption that it’s not appropriate for Maddie to do whatever the hell she wants to do now that her relationship with Schlub has run its course.
