My bet is they’re banking on some people not wanting or knowing about it being cheaper to download the other one, and just buying both physical copies (as many do with Pokemon). Fairly sure some marketing guy got a raise for the idea.

Even if you want to push that point, it doesn’t change the fact that my house is not a “hover house” and my car is not a “hover car” despite following your criteria for the “hover board”.
It doesn’t suspend you above ground though. Standing on something is not the same as being suspended. There’s a reason not every bridge is a “suspension” bridge.
Yeah Uplay is an application, same as Steam/Origin. It’s not quite on the same level as Steam of course though.
Mass Effect 3 is on Uplay. Try again. They only blocked out Steam because of some policy Valve has.
That’s actually not true. You can buy other publishers games via Uplay. It even has Mass Effect and such :P
There’s no microtransactions to unlock characters. Or progression really. You just earn currency through playing and unlock whoever you want in any order. If you watch the tutorial videos you even get enough for a guy just from that, so no excuse to not have a single operator unlocked before going into a game.
In case you are seriously asking, no. Shadows of Mordor wasn’t a Ubisoft title.
Fairly sure he meant for existing missions. Like if any of the existing cutscenes in the game are pre-rendered they may have had to include new video for the costume. It’s possible but unlikely since they already have costume changes in the game. It would be weird to design it with multiple videos based on outfit at…
Well, in Japanese folklore a youkai ISN’T a ghost/demon specifically. It’s more like a general term for supernatural stuff. So they aren’t wrong.
To be fair, I keep ads unblocked for Youtube (and some other sites) because I want to support the people making content, and every time I get a 45 second long unskippable ad for San Pellegrino that blares music 5x louder than the video I’m watching I question why I’m doing it.
Given that there’s no requirement from Sony to put anything useful in the notes, I always like seeing when a company took the time to right them out.
Because the reason it’s a patch is it wasn’t there when they made the disks? Digital downloads for some services do include patch data. I believe Microsoft and Steam do this, but I’m not sure for Sony.
At this point you’re arguing how much playing is playing. You spawned into the game and were killed. You technically still got to “play” you just didn’t last very long.
You’re paying to play the game for a single life. You technically got that. The article mentions you’re able to choose where you spawn, so possibly you can see if there is something already happening at a spot. Nowhere near flawless, but still not stealing.
Is it really stealing if it’s clearly advertised as only having a single life ever? That would be like saying the movie theater is stealing since you only get to watch the movie once for the admission price (well, unless you sneak back in).
There’s no reason to take 9 hours per change. It’s 9 hours minimum per change, but realistically you wouldn’t be going in for a single tiny thing at a time and then restarting the process. It might be an exaggeration anyway, but your time estimate is equally exaggerated.
After having tried it myself for a few hours, I really dislike it. It doesn’t feel natural and most games that “support” it don’t seem to really use any of the particular features. Not a fan.
Yep. Requiring 3 people means this is a no-buy for me. I only have one local friend that would be interested in this, and I don’t want to bother dealing with random people online. The single player looks like it will be atrocious to try and position 3 characters at once... I haven’t seen a video that suggests they…
No one could figure it out, but it puts a new point of interest on the map? That seems... unusual.
