I could see UI and general game flow as an issue. You can’t seriously be suggesting that network sync is a valid reason not to do a 2v2 though. It’s a turn based card game. Blizzard has done more complicated network setups in basically every game they have with multiplayer.

Set it on a mining platform and you fight over control of power nodes. Holding the nodes causes either the map to “tilt” or a lava shield on your side of the map while the enemy gets their defenses burned from the outside in. Boom, map mechanic.

Well the main reason to level heroes to 5 is more for the 500 gold you get per hero. You only really needed level 4 before to unlock all the skills. You are correct though that you don’t need to unlock skills anymore after account level 25.

So yeah basically magic :P

If you mean Kerrigan she flies via psionic power. Those aren’t wings, but actually claws.

The $10 also isn’t on every character. Usually the newest ones primarily, and some other random-ish ones. I’m personally glad I can at least buy things for real money instead of Blizzard Funbucks or some other variation on Riot Points.

Except it’s free to play.

No, the video he linked goes on past the intro cinematic. It’s still about 2 minutes long though.

Because they aren’t going for the same rating for Overwatch. That seems pretty obvious.

The difference is that in your example a particular store will (presumably) list all prices either with or without tax consistently. In this case however Nintendo is listing only some items with tax, and some without. It’s clearly set up to mislead people.

Interestingly enough, this is one of the things that most appeals to my friends and I when we play. Naturally we like getting the kills too (we don’t duo lane Jaina/Kael for nothing) but having the objectives be a focus was what gets us more involved and interested long term.

That’s some pretty heavy breach of data... Wonder if VMC will end up losing the contract or future contracts as a result. Leaking an announced game is bad enough, but video of UNANNOUNCED titles is pretty severe.

Isometric view + rooms in which characters run around = Dungeon Keeper. Got it.

The examples you gave of games with “blank slate” characters also don’t let you choose your gender. These games generally have your character actually pretty involved in what’s happening, and I wouldn’t really consider them blank slates >_>

There’s no mods involved in this speedrun (or generally any speedrun unless specified).

Well, Mario Party requires Wiimotes to play so there’s precedent there too. The gamepad is only usable in a specific mode and not for the main minigames...

Maybe I’m out of the loop on this, but does this mean you get to create your own character for the game? It would be weird otherwise to have to choose 1 of the singleplayer characters for online play, and risks having duplicate people.

Wow, during the stream I mentioned to people that I was surprised they weren’t going the multiple version route (aka Pokemon style) to goad even more cash out of people. Seems I wasn’t far off the mark in the end.

I had a similar reaction to yours. I’ve seen a few spots already talking about April Fools jokes (some datamined which you kind of have to expect in this age). April Fools jokes should only really be coming up on the 1st of April.

The original Riot blog post was posted yesterday, which in no time zones ends up being tomorrow.
