My brother and I both lost friends as children to accidental gun shots. Both were showing how proficient they were with dad’s gun at the time. Both fathers “taught them how to operate a gun the right way” and were “responsible gun owners”. Both also have dead children now.

Everybody thinks they’re well-trained in gun usage. When doing military service, we walked around weeks with fake bullets in our guns before they even gave us live ammo. People spend a day in gun training and think that makes them experts. And then they shoot themselves.

...I would watch the movie based on this. Get a cast put together ASAP.

What really pisses me off is this is exactly the kind of person that guns need to be taken away from, and no one is saying that.
