If it’s really last minute (like two days before) it’s hard to find a showroom that has a ton of 6/8 left, but if her stylist is halfway decent there are TONS of beautiful options in a 6 and even 8 at showrooms in NY and LA, that can be let out a bit if necessary…

Perhaps she isn’t willing to shell out for a custom dress, because I’m pretty sure any person with the money and enough advance time can get plenty of great designers to make them something. But sample dresses are made in tiny sizes because they often have to be tweaked and revised…
