At 4k resolution it really isn’t as easy as some of you guys think it is. Horizon Forbidden West didn’t run at 4k 60 fps on Ps5 at launch. In fact, most games running at 4k 60 fps are in dynamic mode, meaning the resolution scales down to maintain 60 fps.

Literally any OS on any device is going to hamstring you when you’re attempting to do things the device doesn’t officially support. And thinking that using Windows on the Steam Deck makes anything that you’re trying to do easier is just wrong, you’re just familiar with the OS.

Yep. A key point of why the Deck is only an 800p device is to conserve battery life. Anyone trying to sell a device as having better graphical fidelity better be doing so with as good battery life, which I don’t buy at all coming from a smaller overall device.
