I’m not talking about OnlyFans, I’m talking about Twitch. As I said in another comment, she has complete plausible deniability but she actively uses a platform (Twitch) that targets younger audiences , including minors, while promoting herself on other platforms that aren’t designed for minors.

The primary difference is she can reach underage users and the platform she uses protects her from any legal actions that the other jobs you mention would face if they dealt with underage people.

The methods she uses could be considered predatory, particularly because she reaches an audience that can consist of underage users.

The difference is that booze or drugs or gambling can’t interact with you a similar way this content she provides can, where it can feel very personal at times. This can be considerably more detrimental to someone’s health, especially at a younger age.

It’s interesting isn’t it? I mean, you clearly have someone who has taken advantage of the system provided but at what point do we question how predatory her means are?

As the article states... It’s predatory because young people aren’t able to afford a lawyer when signing these contracts and the companies take advantage of that. When you’re offered to get paid to play video games, likely a dream job, most won’t care how much they’re getting paid or don’t realize how much they’ll

I truly mean no offense by this, but is there no way to identify people requesting copies? I mean, surely the majority of requests should be coming from people who are easily confirmed via their YouTube or twitch or whatever gaming site they post their reviews on, right? I get this is extra work for the developer, but

I’m sorry but it’s flat out absurd to be concerned about creators at this point when it comes to AI taking over. The reason creative employment has been pushed out of the corporate entertainment industry isn’t because they rely on technology or algorithms, it’s because they rely on name and brand recognition above all

I mean, a quick google search shows that car emissions are considerably higher than plane emissions yearly. I get the point you’re making, but you act like there isn’t a significant difference in current electrical car technology compared to electrical airplane technology.

You overlook the obvious. Young people learn relationship skills the same place they learn the majority of their other social skills.... parenting/family. Not even talking to your kids about it, but simply having a healthy relationship with another person is enough to clue kids in to how the dynamics work.

No offense, but just because you think you’re a good guy doesn’t mean we should be taking your advice on listening to misogynistic rhetoric in order to feel better about ourselves. I’m sure Tate feels like he’s a good man too, but guess what...?

Key point: most companies only report it publicly when they’re essentially forced to by an outside source discovering the breach. They’ll use the excuse “time to secure the breach”, but the majority of data breaches can be fixed within 24 hours, even for massive companies. They seriously need laws for this to prevent

I do the same with a google account but I got an email. It’s still safer to change your password, but if you have google account authentication setup with your phone you’re protected a little further as you’ll get notifications whenever your account logs in.

Thanks for proving my point.

“You going to sue literally any maker of luxury goods because they’re not easily accessible to people who can’t afford them?”

Except here’s the problem, the only way to purchase the actual digital games is on their store directly. You have to buy the games on the Sony store at the prices Sony alone sets. That’s something this article glosses over and is likely a considerable factor in the suit. Even Valve don’t do this with Steam, yet.

It absolutely applies here as he shows signs of classic right wing indoctrination, particularly with his martyr complex. As much as you think he’s sabotaging himself he’s likely profiting considerably whenever he has negative press, and is likely why he keeps pushing the boundaries. It’s quite typical behavior at this

You’d have a point if what was required to move a bike out of the way was the same amount of effort in hotwiring a car...

No, it’s lawyers seeing a company monopolizing it’s digital storefront to remove competition, therein hurting consumers. The notion that consumers can’t be protected from companies just because the items they sell aren’t necessary for living is absurd.

I did buy it, and enjoyed it a lot, but it’s also lacking a lot. Particularly the combat, which felt like more of a tacked on chore to keep you busy while the day passes in game so you can eventually come back and progress further. Take away the combat and focus purely on the cult aspects and flesh them out a little
