Last I remember, the NFL replays actually can’t review ANY judgement calls. Pass interference, for instance, can’t be reviewed. I’m pretty sure the vast majority of them are used to review catches, which is by no means a judgement call.

This can’t be stated enough. Instead of applauding the developers for being more inclusive kotaku goes for the click bait as usual.

Right, he didn’t replace the starting QB in the playoffs and get them to the Super Bowl or anything. Oh, and in doing so set 49ers records for rushing in his first start in the playoffs.

He didn’t settle to never play in the NFL again, he settled to drop his lawsuit that the NFL owners were conspiring to keep a team from picking him up. In fact, one could argue he likely settled to get it over with so he could resume attempting to play for the NFL again.

Exactly. The only way any of these actions would be illegal is if someone inside the company signed an NDA agreement and then disclosed information to him. Even with that, SupMatto didn’t do anything illegal in acquiring that information, but the employee would be the one legally responsible.

Exactly, this is where it should get troubling for people. Not him having his youtube videos removed, but them getting his discord server and account locked immediately after investigators questioned him.

Then why not be upfront and say that instead of the bullshit that they’re protecting the community and consumers somehow? Further, why go so far as to shut down this guys Discord? Taking down his youtube videos is one thing, taking down a Discord server because of video game leaks is absurd. There’s more to this than

That’s a thin argument I think. I get how leaks can have negative effects on a company, but this wasn’t about negative publicity but rather information about their games. Do you really think people weren’t going to buy Borderlands 3 after hearing this guy talk about new playable characters or character balance?

Let’s be serious about this. This isn’t something like leaking the McDonald’s secret sauce or some trademarked pill to cure cancer. It was information about a video game. I can see how leaking information about a video game in development could potentially be harmful for that company, but we’re really grasping at

I debated how to respond to you, but I think I’ll just leave it at this. Just because what they do is a byproduct of capitalism that other companies are guilty of, doesn’t mean we have no reason to be upset about it.

Oh? Women regret getting groped now apparently? I’m sure the guy who got roofied probably just had it out for the person who gave him the drink too, right?

Because he’s clearly mocking the situation and not actually supporting them by comparing it to someone who would prefer to be called a tree.

Yeah, as MerricatTheExiled pointed out, Alex Jones is the extreme version of conservatism and anyone claiming that he’s the example of just barely crossing the line either isn’t informed or willfully ignorant.

There’s a decent part of the US who is obsessed with being mad about something simply due to the fact that life hasn’t gone the way they want it to. A lot of that is why Trump was elected. Finding someone to blame for your own misfortunes, despite how absurd that can be, removes some of that feeling of hopelessness

Yes, they made millions before and the day the game launched.

Are you kidding? The amount of pre-orders and day one purchases alone made them millions. That’s why they’ve actually been able to update and fix this game for no cost to consumers.

Dude, I conceded I was wrong about how they update this game, but in doing so pointed out a flaw in how those updates are done in relying on third party sources to update the machines. What’s your problem?

Your first point proves how unreliable updates are, by pointing out that the owners of the cabinets are the ones required to do those updates. That doesn’t mean they will. For competition though, that’s great if they keep making changes that actually effect how people approach the game. I admit I only briefly viewed a

I honestly don’t care what or how people choose to act on twitch in order to get viewers. But this....

If they receive updates that’s great, but if they’re using typical arcade boards then that’s incredibly unlikely that the arcade machines themselves are getting those updates consistently. I can’t find any information on the internals of the actual arcade machines, so it’s hard to know how they would update arcade
