There’s several issues with what you suggest. Primarily about using demo feedback to change the game, because by the time a developer releases a demo the game won’t be changed in ways that are significant and you’ll basically only get bug fixes. As well, the majority of people who play games don’t leave any feedback

The worst part of this is this quote:

A game shouldn’t be dictated by finances in the way that prohibits objective fairness of that game. I realize the financial aspects of it, and completely understand it when discussing the NFL because that’s their first priority above everything, but the most profitable game in the world shouldn’t have a flaw like its

You’re missing the point. A team not being given the opportunity to tie the game after another team scores is ridiculous because you’re essentially saying that the offensive half of the team doesn’t matter if the defense can’t step up. That’s like not playing out a full inning in baseball because someone hit a homerun

That’s a poor argument against adopting a considerably better system than the current one though.

Seriously. How people can even attempt to claim that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t deserve a chance to at least tie the game after what he did is astounding. He doesn’t even get to touch the ball and you’re saying that’s fine because his defense, something completely out of his control, gave up a big play.

The problem against this whole argument that the playoff overtime shouldn’t change is something staring you right in the god damn face. College football does it perfectly. Removes the kickoff and punts that are the most dangerous times for the players and let’s them actually play out the game in a meaningful way with

It is definitely imbalanced the way it is. I play on hardcore, and fortunately have enough experience to know what level I can play other sets at compared to the melee one. But you’re right in that it’s just so over the top. I literally ignore everything in a rift except elites, goblins and the rift boss with zero

That’s kind of the point of this season I think. They purposely want to introduce newer players to the sets they normally wouldn’t have gotten otherwise to show them how powerful they become with a full set.

It’s just unfortunate that these types of calls aren’t reviewable. Because they’re so obviously not subjective whether a player leads with their helmet or not.

Yes, with his shoulder, and not launching into him. He aimed for the body and Brown’s head came down into his shoulder, completely out of his control. He wasn’t even attempting to hit him that hard, which is shown by his jogging through the play rather than launching into him. It’s just an unfortunate play that

Again I’ll ask to watch it at full speed and tell me he had time to turn away. I can concede that Brown was more defenseless than I initially though, as he was airborn, but to claim that a player can so quickly not make a hit like that based upon replay of 1/10th of a second is ridiculous. Slow motion has spoilt us in

He’s clearly not aiming at his head though... The replay shows his head dip down almost violently right into Burfict’s shoulder as they make contact. How is that aiming for the head when the head moves from upright to downward facing?

Not at all, I’m not even a fan of either team. But when you stop watching these plays in slow motion and realize the speed at which you’re expecting a player to judge whether or not he should hit a guy you gain a new perspective of the situation. Especially when a guy clearly leads with his shoulder as he’s taught to

Exactly. Honestly, the biggest problem for these types of plays id slow motion. Everyone makes it seem so easy to judge based upon slow motion replay that has a play that lasts 1/10th of a second take seconds to show. It’s absolutely ridiculous to claim these sort of plays are avoidable.

RIght. No offense, but it sounds like the typical person who judges everything from slow motion without realizing you’re expecting these guys to make that decisions in 1/10 of a second.

A receiver isn’t defenseless over the middle unless they’re in the air. That’s why the term started being used in the first place, for receivers getting nailed going through the middle while they’re in the air trying to make a play. I mean, in this situation you wouldn’t even be able to call him defenseless if he had

Receivers are only defenseless over the middle when they’re in the air. If he had caught the ball you wouldn’t be labeling him as defenseless.

No, if you look at the replay it only seems like that because it’s slow. If you watch the hit live he clearly didn’t have any time to do anything but lead with his shoulder. The problem with replays is they project this concept that players have more time than they actually do to react. Look at it full speed and it’s

What exactly did Burfict do that was idiotic? He lead with his shoulder and unforunately Brown’s head jerked down right into it, which was completely out of Burfict’s control. He literally did nothing wrong, but exactly what he’s taught to do in that situation, and because of the rules he got a penalty he shouldn’t
