Put 4 big blokes in the Accord, 5 in the old 6.3 and blast off. Guarantee the Merc will outrun the Honda. The torque is no where close in range. I have a few of these 6.3s and have driven plenty of newer cars. Dunno about the conservative ratings but the 6.3 was a very fast car. With some small mods even faster.
