I agree. It was only news to people who pay attention to the nonprofit world. There were a handful of "Save the Anna Louise Inn" yard signs and bumper stickers, but there weren't many and they were all in the central city on the Ohio side, which is maybe 10% of the metro population. I truly wish this was published

Has anyone actually released information about the new location? Is this the West End? I can't think of a part of OTR that's very close to a highway.

Zoning issues in Cincinnati aren't subject to strict rules. They call hearings at the last minute and only tell the people they want to know about them. It's happened over and over. They're easily persuaded— as octochicken says, if someone throws enough money at an issue...

Don't want to be too critical, but sylphides might not know much context/history... Sounds like you know a little more.

P.P.S. Totally wouldn't blame it on the city planners. I don't think any of the 3CdC stuff had much to do with them, and they are fairly conscientious of class/race issues. There's one guy in particular who is great— Michael Moore. Another has done wonders for the bicycle infrastructure in the past 5-8 years. I think

P.S. I can totally imagine that guy on his phone in OTR. Ha. Re the program that failed, are you talking about ReSTOC? They didn't fail, the organization they merged with is still going strong.

But is it moving to OTR? The information I can find makes it sound like Queensgate, maybe West End or Lower Price Hill.

I think s/he was trying to say the neighborhood that it will be moved to is OTR. When I tried to figure out where it will be moving, I just got descriptions. Sounds like Queensgate or Lower Price Hill.

It's my way of saying, "Thank you for literally making me LOL."

Yep. I did for sure.

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU for covering this article. An acquaintance posted it on Facebook a few weeks ago and I have been debating if I care enough to bring up how awful this article sounds. I've been going through the exact same talking points for weeks. Ugh.

With the assumption that all the women he saw at the gym want to be slender. Notice how many times he talks about the behavior of women he sees and does not know why they run- maybe they care more about the distance they are running than their body fat composition. He just talks from the perspective of seeing these

"im not sorry" Speak it! I love a rant from a young woman who is not sorry.

I think it depends on how lactose intolerant you are. Also, combination of wheat + dairy + grease leaves my fussy Jewish belly reeling. Terrible.

That dress is amazing. Curvy and gorgeous!

Sounds like a real jerk... Good riddance.

Printed? Maybe you can include an animated gif flipbook.

It happened to me on the subway and I only lived in NYC for a total of 5 months of my life. It's very common.

True wisdom.

Yuck.
