I’m one of those rare once-every-three-generation upgraders, and I’m dying for this update. I love my iPad 4 but it’s getting really long in the tooth and I’m up for replacing it (though I’ll keep my 4 for the family).

Tablets are low update-frequency devices that are a proven niche - clearly consuming media implies a budget that most people aren’t privy to.
