Yep, I don't see how you get consent out of that scene unless you are either in denial or don't understand what rape is.

That was my thought, too. If that's the quality of the writing in the books, why would I want to read them?

(I haven't read the books, so no spoilers)

That's what I thought also.

The entire wedding I was waiting for a ceremonial execution. Which I guess we got.

Mikah was pretty clear, though, that she couldn't kill a person. I really doubt she could hurt her sister, even in an attempt to get her sister not to kill her.

We have kids that are that messed up in our current society. I met a girl, maybe 8 or 9, once who was in a residential facility. She had a flat affect like Lizzie's character and was equally morbid. She actually stabbed a staff member in the hand with a fork during a meal (I believe it was over getting a second

She was beyond the point of no return, really. Maybe if you put her in an institution and gave her lots of therapy she might turn into a functional adult, but I'm guessing most of the child treatment centers shut down once the patients started eating each other.

Certainly, yes, but do it too many times and it starts turning into a situation where these people are just too stupid to survive.

She's in a baby backpack of some sort. I'm not sure how they procured one, though I was surprised they didn't pick up several in the episode they went to the baby boutique.

I thought it was fairly gradual- it was implied she was fairly disturbed before she got to the prison. Maybe she saw her mom or her friend turn, and therefore wanted to believe the zombies were people. Maybe she would have been a bit off even in the best of situations. She did believe she was doing the right thing,

Hah! This has been my biggest gripe the whole series- they constantly leave small children alone to be zombie bait. Every child that dies pretty much dies as a result of that. I mean, I have issues with letting my 7 and 9 year old brothers play at the neighbors down the street… and we haven't had a zombie

I thought both girls' performances were spot on and incredibly well executed. I also thought the plot was believable (although, perhaps on the edge of believable) and a gut punch.

It wasn't bad. I was expecting some really bad combination of Touch and the 3rd season of Heroes. It did seem to work, and while it was painfully obvious what the "twist" was, I enjoyed it.

Their grilled chicken sandwiches aren't bad, either.

I looked it up, the character is 18 in season 4 (and the real life actress is 28). Still too young of a character not to be creepy, IMO. Plus it's nice to see a platonic relationship, too many cable shows seem to think they need a sex scene every episode.

Isn't Beth like 14? Sexual tension would be disturbing.

I think the sister may have survived.

Dude, every lawn is mowed, and you're complaining about the cereal?

This episode just made me miss the supporting cast.
