It’s really not that hard to get incarcerated in this country while harming no one.  Like seriously, you can sell dime bags of flour and parsley, and just say it’s cocaine and marijuana and PRESTO, you’re in prison.

The federal system provides decent food compared to the fare most states supply. Feds realized that if you pay a little extra for food, you’ll save money elsewhere. If you’re going to end up in prison in the US, you’re almost certainly going to be better off in a federal facility than the average state facility.

Yes, and the good ones that accept medicaid generally do two things- they are selective of what patients they take, and they have huge waiting lists.

In the US most nursing homes are privately owned, and publicly owned cones an actually be better (the best nursing home in my county is owned by the county).

What can matter more is funding. Places that accept medicaid are typically getting the lowest reimbursement rates (unfortunately, most people who need long term

Women can sexually assault and abuse patients. It happens less frequently, but it does happen.

I got bronchitis right before Christmas and am still trying to get better. Missed four days of work (my next paycheck is going to be very sad). Luckily they didn’t count against me since we’re low census.

I am trying to coordinate getting more intensive counseling than I am currently getting (I would like to actually

That being said, the hours are hard, but that’s over stated here in the post tone. Teachers get weeks off during the school year and still get two months off in the summer, which is a huge benefit.

I work at a for profit mental health facility. You just described my work environment. Like to a T.

Half that work? Judging from the hours I’ve spent helping my mom do that BS it’s more like 99%.

For a while there was a rule that she couldn’t write her own goals, and instead had to reference a giant book of goals and use them for her students. If she wrote her own goals she risked being written up. The software they

My state requires an ACT of 22 (writing 6) OR an SAT of 1110 (minimum 26 on writing and language) (these are the scores required on the most recent versions of the ACT/SAT). That’s a fairly high score- well over half of SAT/ACT scores are below it. They’re discontinuing the propriety test they are using because the

My family (specifically the 12 and 14 year olds) HATE Catan. They’ve played similiar games, but for whatever reason. Catan does not work in my house. They’ll play Ticket to Ride for hours, though.

The game that’s most popular (outside of Chess and you know, the Xbox) in my house right now is Santorini.

I personally think it’s more that EVERYONE has struggles, and the struggles of child actors are just much more public. I also think families who end up letting their kids go into acting are more likely to have some underlying stuff going on.

In other words, I suspect it has less to do with being famous at a young age an

TBH I want to be in a reality where Madame Vastra exists.  I’m pretty sure Madame Vastra and Trump could not coexist on the same plane.

One of the people involved in the standoff, who was violating his probation in addition to the various crimes they were committing, ended up going on a murder rampage with his wife that killed two police officers and an armed bystander who attempted to intervene.

He missed the dress rehearsals, which triggered pulling him from the sketches. He appears to be in psychiatric crisis. Just like you wouldn’t have someone who is actively having a heart attack working, you wouldn’t have someone who is actively suicidal working. SNL has known about Davidson’s mental health, and has

Adherent DBT works well for BPD, and the author of this article should have stated that rather than writing something that sounds quite hopeless. DBT does have a high drop out rate, and a moderate failure rate, so no it doesn’t work well for everyone. If you can get the person to comply to DBT treatment over the long

General professional opinion is that someone with BPD (not in recovery) isn’t functioning at a high enough level to manipulate, but certainly the *behavior* feels manipulative. Suicide threats in BPD can be a desperate attempt to maintain social connections and have needs met, since the person with BPD doesn’t have

Wouldn’t she have been incriminating herself in this instance?

It also doesn’t sound like she was aware when the writer was a minor, if I have the timeline correct.

If I was his HR manager at any job pretty much anywhere I’d probably put him on paid leave pending a psych eval and treatment given that he appears to have threatened suicide, quite possibly while in the workplace. TBH if I was on his team I’d be looking at intensive DBT programs that he can attend for several months.
