I care (a little, not much). I’ve been ungreyed elsewhere, and on some no longer existing jez sub blogs. Which was cool.

At one point I cared more, and I even changed my screenname is an attempt to make a funny “Hey! Please ungrey me!” thing. Didn’t work, but hey.

I believe in the greys. Like I think having a system

Chances of getting ungreyed on Jez are like... zero? It’s best to just accept life in the greys.

When I diet, I inevitably end up severely restricting my caloric intake. It’s never diagnosed as anorexic, but you know, when you’ve gone 4 days without eating (and by this, I don’t mean drinking slimfast, I mean literally no calories) after several months of eating nothing or less than 500 calories a day for many or

I once had a woman who has schizophrenia tell me that her neighbor (who also has schizophrenia) was telepathically sexually abusing her cat.  Thought disorders are so heartbreaking.  I really hope this woman can get whatever help she may need.

The death toll is always higher than reported, as natural disasters disrupt emergency services/people’s lives which leads to a higher overall death toll. So Granny has a heart attack, but doesn’t get medical attention in time, so she dies whereas pre-storm she would live.

Of note, this also happens as a result of big

A month is not “a while” at rehab. A while at rehab is more like in excess of 2 or 3 months. A singular month is pretty much like the standard dose of residential rehab (although most people in the “real world” are lucky to get 2-3 weeks).

Ideally people with entrenched addiction and mental health needs would get

Half my dresses have pockets and I have three designated cardigans with pockets, that pair with the pocket-less dresses unless I have a temporary lapse in judgement while dressing. I also have a run belt I can wear under the dress, and you know, there’s always bras.

I have to carry an inhaler on me at all times and

I stared wearing dresses because I was trying to do the tunic and legging thing and it wasn’t working because the tunic would ride up on torso. Like, a lot of people do it, and I have NO ISSUE with other people doing it, more power to them, but I wasn’t comfortable and would constantly be pulling them down.

I’ve converted my entire wardrobe (pretty much...) to leggings, knit dresses, and cardigans.  I love it.  It’s like the best thing that has ever happened.  It’s like you’re wearing pajamas 24/7 BUT NO ONE KNOWS HIS BUT YOU.  Everyone else thinks you’re being fancy because you’re wearing a “dress”.

My mother’s coworker and friend (who I wasn’t friends with, but met a couple times and heard my mom talk about all the time, so it feels like I knew her better than I did?) was recently murdered by her husband.

Her children are getting a lot of support right now from their family, and are in protective care with child services. Everyone at my mom’s school is just heartbroken and traumatized. My cousin’s 14 year old had her for a teacher last year and all of the kids who had her as a teacher are just so sad.

She intervened

My mother’s friend was recently brutally murdered by her husband (beaten to death over a three day period, in front of her children). He was former college english professor and middle school teacher (at a competitive admission magnet school).

People coming out of the woodwork to defend him and say how great he was is

It works for androgen related hair loss (thing male pattern balding, but in women).  Some receding of the hairline is usually androgen related, so it should work, but it probably won’t regrow what you’ve already lost.

I’ve given up on my eyebrows. They want to be caterpillars, so they get to be caterpillars.  At least until I end up in some job where it matters how I look...

Other posters have commented on the superdelegate issue (or non issue) and hit most of the points I would, mostly that they would have flipped for Bernie had he won a majority (or close to a majority) at the convention.

I’ll add a philosophical point. The Trump phenomena- a dangerously inexperienced populist party

Clinton and Sanders were neck and neck in Michigan, Clinton lost by a small margin and Sanders got 5 more delegates from the state than Clinton.

Clinton won overwhelmingly nationwide when you count both the votes and the delegates.

Putting work badges, cell phone, wallets, purses, etc in the back works very well too. You might leave the car without it, but you’re almost certain to go back to your car before the situation becomes scary.

It also gets you in the habit of always going into the back seat. Another good habit to get into, with kids, is

People who think they could never forget their kid in the car are the ones who scare me.

People don’t forget their kid. That’s not what happens. They just forget their kid was with them. Their brain goes into autopilot and thinks the kid is with other parent/at daycare/at grandparents/whatever. Kid falls asleep in the

True story:

I knew an actor’s kid. Actor was a major player on a sitcom (said show is still well known and in syndication) and is Very Wealthy. S/he still gets a decent amount of work. Other parent is very Not Wealthy. Like, I believe other parent was some sort of assistant on set. Child was born out of wedlock.
