Um, no. They don’t. I just went through *all* the poll averages/polls (some states only have one recent poll) for the upcoming states through the 22nd. Clinton is overwhelming winning. I went through Nate Silver’s odds. He is projecting a virtual Clinton sweep of the major upcoming states.

Sanders is going to do better

Yeah, quirky fundy conspiracy theorist is.. meh. I don’t feel active anger towards people like that (assuming they yield no political power). Bemused, a bit sad, sure, but not angry. Parents who abandon their children, on the other hand...

TBH, Cruz is scarier in many ways that Trump.

This poor kid.

Sherri Shepherd will always be horrible, in my mind, because of how she handled this. It doesn’t matter if the other parent is an asshole who decided to have a child in order to rope you in, *there is now a child, that child is real, and you’re now the fucking parent so grow the fuck up*.

I was also certain Trump wouldn’t win the nod. So.

I watched some of season 1 when I was like fourteen or something. Isn’t polygamy the only logical conclusion of this show?

Oh I miss Lafayette so much.

As a person who has severe asthma and (probably) is about to be diagnosed with a progressive and potentially fatal lung disease... I also don’t get it. I get why people continue to smoke, but I don’t understand why they start.

You have to be the age of the Olsen Twins to have any nostalgia.

I want to live in the alternate universe where this is true.

I am so fucking done. Fuck these assholes. Strap them on a fucking rocket and fire it into the fucking sun. There is nothing redeemable left.

(I’ve just had the month from hell, including a week long hospital stay for pneumonia, and I still can’t breathe right, and I’m probably going to be diagnosed with something

That doesn’t mean anything, though. Carcinogens cause cancer because they cause the cells to mutate. So a carcinogen often won’t be present in the tumor, because the damage it did was done early on in the illness. The microscopic presence of talc (if she was using it regularly) doesn’t mean the talc caused it. It just

I’ve dug into this in the past, and found no good evidence that talc causes cancer. It appears very similar to claims that antiperspirant causes breast cancer, etc. A lot of people believe it, but the scientific evidence doesn’t support a link.

In context, it’s a completely different quote. Granted, it’s sort of babbling and nonsensical, but it isn’t racist or dismissive.

Especially considering the burbs are more conservative.

We’ve never had the system I described. How we did draft exemptions in the U.S. was bullshit.

I really feel like we’ve reached the point where we need to just start having candidates participate in reality shows. Like, how a person manages the Amazing Race probably says more about their leadership potential than how good they are at regurgitating talking points.

And this, right here, is the argument for compulsory military service. Almost EVERYONE feels that way about their children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews/etc. So, if everyone’s children were at risk of being deployed into combat, including the wealthy, including congress, then we’d likely be a heck of a lot more

Yep, totally support mandatory registration for women.

I also think we should require all high school grads to serve for a period of 1-2 years, simply because I think we’d be far less likely to go to war if the soldiers were the sons and daughters of *everyone*, rather than volunteers disproportionately from low income
