It makes perfect sense and you just proved it. First, you claim nobody should ever be held accountable without the rarified standard of due process, which is reserved for court cases.

Accountability is a very broad concept that applies to a multitude of situations. Classrooms, families, teams, communities are a few examples. Due process applies to court.
It’s funny because the very first time I cooked with ginger, I was told you could freeze it, grate it, and ignore the peel, so for me this was the most duh lifehacker piece ever.
Yeah first one looks like the ginger I keep in my freezer and I never peel it. The skin doesn’t seem to affect the texture or flavor. I usually grate it.
There’s actually another practical benefit to this gauge that you didn’t touch on. It’s actually more important and goes with the touring spirit. If you are driving long distances, you can better maximize the capacity of your tank and spend more time driving and less time fueling.
Good point about the igniter. I think they can be pretty frail in high heat. I replaced mine about a year ago. I had been experimenting with fairly high temperature for baking pizza. Just 500 degrees on a pizza stone. I had the pizza stone on the floor of the oven, which I don’t think the igniter liked. It was just on…
I have an even better idea: don’t spill shit all over the inside of your oven. How hard is that?
I care, because the purpose is only to keep power in the hands of the wealthy. You may be fine with that too, but it’s wrecking our society and our planet.
I got a retirement account loan in November from tiaa-cref and got canned by my school in December. Not only did I not have to pay it back immediately, they said I could take out another loan if I wished. On top of that, I was able to delay repayments due to the loan allowances passed as part of the Covid stimulus…
Yeah, i see your point. That had the makings of a great film. But I don’t think everyone has the same goals as filmmakers, and that’s okay. And I wouldn’t expect someone to change their whole script based on a location not being what they expected (though for anybody who did, that’s a bold risk and should be…
That’s fair. I could definitely get down with far more diverse voices in cinema.
You may be 100% right, but you sound really fucking bitter.
Yes authoritative consistent guidance from the beginning would have helped. But it doesn't excuse people who refuse to respect store rules and county guidelines. And threatening store employees is never acceptable.
Additionally, even with the valve open, these probably protect those around you as well as something like a banana would. I think this column goes a little too far in proclaiming the uselessness of these masks. (Though I was still glad to realize the n95 mask I’ve been using does not have a valve.)
That requirement to get a prescription for otcs to be eligible was super annoying. My doctor has better things to do than nanny my FSA account. I think five or ten years ago that requirement did not exist. Glad it is gone.
Yeah this article seems to think everybody lives alone (like I do). They are going to need a follow up article discussing the dynamic of family isolation and quarantine.
Okay everybody, let’s put this outbreak on hold. Looks like we forgot to account for texag’s need for fresh food. We’ll try again next time.
I love this idea. So few kids walk to school and there are many reasons we need to return to the practice. For one thing, the traffic jams that develop before and after school are just madness. Kids need the independence and exercise, and our environment needs the break. I can’t believe the worriers in the comments…
A person can want imperialism to end without wanting America to end. Being intertwined or even foundational in America's history does not make it inevitable in the future.
Although it often seems like it, “America” and “empire” are not, in fact, one in the same.
