Counterpoint: Sansa is weak, stupid, and easily manipulated. She got her own father killed, and the only part of Westeros she knows is the games of the very rich and powerful. And she’s bad at those.
The show isn’t Canadian, though (unlike Continuum, Dark Matter, Orphan Black, and Motive).
This is a ridiculous post. $50 is a very reasonable price for what they’re selling. Where I live, just the two movie tickets alone would cost over $30. So for an extra $20, you’re getting the ability to watch Force Awakens in your living room, on your giant projector TV, with 10 of your friends, and your own cheap…
Since you asked for it, I’m not sure I agree with your assessment of transporter technology. There’s actually quite a bit of evidence that Starfleet did not immediately “get over” the philosophical debate, but took a century or two to fully get used to it. McCoy in TOS mentions that he does not like getting his atoms…
I agree that there was no “that is why you fail” moment, which was an issue for the portrayal of the Force. But I think part of that is because the music also wasn’t quite there. The music is about 70% of the reason that scene in The Empire Strikes Back is so magical, and there just weren’t any of those moments in The…
Unfortunately, the early half of the show, which dealt with the local Bajorans struggling to mediate with the Federation, is nowhere near as engaging as the later Dominion storyline—but it’s worth slogging through to be familiar with the characters for later.
I don’t think it’s totally fair to say that there’s a contradiction between Molly believing Renautas will kill 7 billion people and the news that it’s a solar flare. It seems like the show has pretty clearly indicated there are two different people trying to save the world— the good guys, who are this group of powered…
Sosa or gaseosa would be options— hence the green parts of New Mexico, etc.
Wait, you seriously don’t think Four is a trope? The lone, foreign, exiled warrior looking to save his homeland or win his homeland or whatnot? The show even winks at it by having one of the characters say “Four wouldn’t do that, he’s too obsessed with honor.” And Six wasn’t a loner at the beginning, but the last few…
Four is also the Brooding Loner Haunted by His Past™. Dark Matter’s pretty big on that character trope.
It’s not, and that’s probably why they’re not very common anymore. I’m guessing you’re a bit on the younger side— I think that kind of broiler was standard years and years ago but I haven’t seen one in quite a while.
I came here expecting to find a whole bunch of stories of customers’ food being fucked with, and the customers none the wiser. Pleasantly surprised! The best part of revenge is the look on their face when they realize what you’ve done.
Steven Universe, definitely. It’s the right mix of lighthearted, yet interesting, and on a real binge you can see a huge amount of character development in a short time. Also, the 15-minute episode length makes it easy to stay engaged.
“Unfortunately, we’ve answered so many questions about this lately . . .”
This story’s primarily about Canada, which doesn’t have a president.
Or even worse, Star Trek circa 2001-2002, where you had one crap show that was finishing up, one truly awful show getting started, and a franchise-killingly terrible movie.
the 500 million-square mile Gobi Desert.
*Notwithstanding the stories from Canada and/or the U.K. this week.
Not all comments load immediately, dude— none of your subsequent ones showed up when I made mine, and I suspect you will keep getting more comments correcting you. Nobody’s trying to pile on. The thought that you might have been trolling isn’t exactly ridiculous, people sometimes do that here.
