This feels like it could work in L.A.— we really only have two highways over the Hollywood Hills, and they’re both train wrecks. And there’s a whole central section of the city that isn’t near either one.

Who cares how long it takes were flushing billions down the toilet for a train that will be empty a majority of the time. Meanwhile all of Southern California is sitting on gridlocked freeways. Spend the money on more metrolink lines or freeway infrastructure.
