EVERYONE who has played the game have all said it’s great.
EVERYONE who has played the game have all said it’s great.
the traversal mechanic is what does it for me, and it’s made even dumber by the fact that it’s part of the story.
like most game studios, though...is it even rocksteady still? arkham knight was 9 years ago, asylum 15...how much of the same team are conceivably still there?
genuinely never seen a game shoot itself in the foot like this before even starting the race.
Even if Rocksteady won’t say its new game is live-service, WB is happy to confirm it has plans to make more of these games, regardless of how fans feel.
How much are you paid per post?
Writers make the story, not the gameplay. We don’t remember the Arkham games for their stories, do we?
The only reactions are from people who have allegedly played the alpha version- and since that would be breaking the NDA they had to sign to play it, they’re all anonymous and can’t be verified. So I’m not sure what this universal praise is.
Poor Rockstar has fully crawled up their own ass so deep they have a second office there!
Nobody is trying to “gotcha” you, we just want you to ACKNOWLEDGE THE REALITY OF WHAT YOU ARE MAKING! Now, obviously they KNOW, but most likely it’s the marketing or executive teams that are keeping pressure on the devs to not use…
“long-term success and profitability”
They’re really working hard to build back the goodwill they destroyed a few months back, huh?
I’m still stuck on the guns for the characters who don’t use guns, in the game universe we associate with not using guns, from the studio who brought us great non-gun combat in that universe. I love the freeflow combat system. It’s a shame that both Gotham Knights and this game completely forgot it existed.
“still full of the DNA that infuses the Batman: Arkham series”
While Rocksteady earned a good pedigree with their Arkham titles, this just appeals less and less to me the more we see of it. Even if it wasn’t clearly a live service game, a Suicide Squad looter shooter isn’t something that gets on my radar. Instead of grilling RS to say this is a live service game, they need to…
Yeah, just wait for Day 1 reviews or First impressions; there’s no way whatever pre-order bonus they have on offer is worth it
This game is going to fail and I’m sorry for those who hope that they’re wrong about it being bad.
“It’s so slimey and greedy.”
Who is “everybody”? I’ve yet to see or hear ANY hands on when it comes to this game.
I am expecting ot to function a lot like Gotham Knights. you can basically play it singleplayer but the live stuff still sticks it’s head in between missions like it wants to make sure you and your friends don’t need more snacks or a battlepass.
“So what, we just some kind of.... Live-service game?"
