The South Park guys have never been progressive.  They are “both sides” libertarians. They have always had some shitty views on some things 

The best critique of South Park and one that’s come the closest to explaining why it rubs me the wrong way is that they always take the side of “not caring”. The end result is always that caring about anything is dumb and “both sides” are bad if either of them actually care. 

Right??? I tried getting back into South Park, but it’s all about that Tegridy farms stuff. Really hate what they did to Randy. He used to be likeable and stupid, now he’s an unbearable asshole.

Honestly... I lost interest in South Park thanks to the Tegridy Farms stuff. I kinda feel like the show I liked ended after the episode where ManBearpig killed Satan (who’s spirit hilariously went to heaven). Since then it’s just been a show about how depraved Randy can get and still have everything work out.

I’ve been expecting them to make a Bill-Maher-esque heel-turn some day. Maybe this is it.

Listen, if anyone can be trusted to deliver a script about media pandering, it’s South Park, the ancient franchise that’s been pandering nonstop to mediocre edgy white dudebros for a quarter century.

Can we finally add South Park to the list of overly long running adult animated shows that need to die already?

All you have to do to fix the finale is take out all the flashback clips everytime some character from the past shows up. Having those clearly showed that they were making the finale for the millions of people who would be watching who barely had watched the show before that, rather than actual fans.

Well, Jerry had a Mac, so I guess he wasn’t PC. I don’t know what computer if any the other characters had.

Oh, god please no more Seinfeld. Jerry has become an even more insufferable douchebag since it ended. Don’t give him any more airtime than he has already. 

That finale was TERRIBLE,  pure garbage Jerry.  Such a great series really blew it with it that one.

Was 12 when I watched it live and I remember too feeling a bit ripped off that they did more clips in the actual episode.

It’s really the only thing that would make sense in the context of those characters. A brief complaint about how hard it was for them, followed by quickly moving on, having learned nothing.
