Daddy Trump wants his kids and son-in-law to get top security clearance. This is NOT a joke. They’re gonna run America like a Mob family business. I wonder how long it will be before they try to get clearance for Alex Jones.

He’s got 18k Instagram/Twitter followers and has done a bunch of scores. It’s not like he’s some random dude off the street

We do very much so. The first was a great movie but it’s lack of budget didn’t allow them to do much at all, leaving it feeling more like a pilot than any other superhero movie I can think of.

This is slowly starting to cross into “No seriously...do we need a sequel?” territory.

why swapping an existing character is better than creating new characters.

Djimon Honsou was obviously way cooler than the stock Michael Bay tough guys in The Island. Although that dude on the right with the beard who is in every Michael Bay movie is alright.

As opposed to the Donnerverse, where Superman fought Non, Zod, and Ursa in the middle of Metropolis and ultimately killed a defenseless Zod at movie’s end.

On the one hand, there is not a whole lot in that trailer that sets the movie apart from countless other superhero movies (aside from the female hero, of course.) On the other hand, Gal Gadot CALMLY STEPPING OUT OF A TRENCH AND WALKING TO THE ENEMY LINES WHILE EASILY BLOCKING THEIR BULLETS.

Those bracer blocks <3 It looks fun. Want to see if they do her character right though with regards to compassion to her enemy. Maybe her fighting for humane treatment of German POWs like in Bombshells. Or seeking peaceful solution first, if not then a non lethal solution.

WHOOOOOLE lot of nods to the golden age Wonder Woman like Etna Candy fisticuffing and Wonder Woman being reduced to a secretary

It is incredibly stupid, but it is why I had no faith in Warner Bros. executives bringing Static to theaters. I just don’t know why he never got a TV show because his powers are budget friendly and his school life has great potential for an ongoing series. He’d fit in great with Arrow and Flash.

him and idris elba. both wasted in the marvel movies.

It’s not a trope exclusive to Marvel movies - and I didn’t mean to imply that - but it’s a trope Marvel movies have drawn on for basically every one of their origin movies. It can be effective, but it’s getting tiresome to see ever other one of these MCU films use it.

I always think his brilliant performance in Amistad.

On the topic of representation, I grew up in the late 90s/early 00s, and there being hardly any Native American representation in animation/film/tv shows, I tended to relate more towards like animal characters (Sonic the Hedgehog comics, Ducktales, etc.) and more outsider characters (Clark Kent, Buffy the Vampire

Something-something-Miles-Morales.

This sort of makes me wonder: Why hasn’t WB/ DC ever created a live action movie for Static Shock? Sort of feels like a good fit to compete with Spider-man.

The actor for Peter Parker is really young, unless he quits or something happens to him, I imagine Parker will be in the MCU for a long time.

Same thing with the Green Lantern movie, nobody likes Hal Jordan anyways. If you google Green Lantern it auto fills John Stewart!

How dare you
